Stars of the sports world and inveterate collectors have a rendezvous on December 1 and 2, 2010 at the Journée Internationale du Marketing Horloger. “The Watchmaking industry and its Ambassadors” is the topic of this 14th edition, which will take place in Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The role of ambassadors in the communication strategy, or identity building for watch brands will be the center point of the debate of the next rendezvous of watchmaking marketing, impossible to circumvent. The topic of this 14th edition “the Watchmaking industry and its Ambassadors” aims not only the “traditional” ambassadors who are the stars of the worlds of sports and the show business, but also collectors, retailers, journalists, political personalities… and watch wearers!
An event organized in two sections, the first day reserved for academic research – 5th Day of research in watchmaking marketing – will take place on December 1st in the premises of the ARC school of management in Neuchâtel. It will be followed by the Journée Internationale du Marketing Horloger (JIMH) International Day of Watchmaking Marketing, an exchange platform intended for watchmaking industry professionals, which will proceed on December 2nd from 9:00 a.m. at the Théâtre L’heure bleue in la Chaux-de-Fonds.
Animated by the duet of uncommon artists Plonk and Replonk, this second day will include among the watchmaking ambassadors: Sebastien Loeb, sevenfold world champion of car rally and ambassador of Marvin; Guillaume Nery, recordman of the world of diving in apnea and ambassador of Ball Watch; or Nicolas Bideau, head of the film section of the Federal Office of the Culture and future director of Swiss Presence.
As for the brand representatives, Antonio Calce (Corum), Richard Mille (Richard Mille), Jean-Marc Jacot (Parmigiani), Guillaume Tetu (Hautlence), Cecile Maye (Marvin) and Daniel Alioth (Watch Ball) will participate.
