Two new Tutima Classic models can cope with even the toughest of demands and come with a case made of hardened stainless steel. The greatest hardness is on the surface, but also penetrates deep into the material, ensuring that the case is extremely well protected against potential scratches.
In addition, the cases and steel bracelets are given a chip-proof black PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating, which is almost as hard as ceramic. This means the coating is even more robust than the hardened stainless steel basis. Watch cases and bracelets of this kind are virtually corrosion-proof. Dials of 1930s Tutima sports watches from Glashütte provided the inspiration for the face of these “extra tough” Grand Classic models.
