Saxon Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich Visits the German Watch Museum Glashütte
The German Watch Museum Glashütte received Saxon Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich on 5 May 2009. Mayor Frank Reichel as well as Deputy Mayor Andreas Loose welcomed Mr. Tillich in the name of the city. The foundation’s managing director Michael Kicherer also cordially welcomed the visitor from the capital, who was accompanied by District Administrator Michael Geisler.
As part of a trip to the county of Saxon Switzerland – east Ore Mountains, Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich also visited Glashütte, the birthplace of the German watchmaking industry.After an informative and entertaining tour of the exhibition with director of the museum Reinhard Reichel, the prime minister met the CEOs of virtually all watch companies of Glashütte to discuss the local development. They talked about the current economic situation, the future local development and the promotion of young talents.
